We apply what you learn on the driving range during the morning session to the golf course in the afternoon. Our 3-to-1 Abc golf school allows your group and the instructor to play a number of playing lessons during your school. This will teach you the value of course management and how it relates directly with strokes saved. They will cover the mental side of the game during these "on course" lessons as well. Golf is a game of saving strokes any way possible. You will find a good thinking golfer will save strokes each and every time out. You will receive a nine-hole playing lesson with your professional each day of the school, although the five day school offers one leisure afternoon for you to go out on your own.
Teaching Method
Basic fundamentals are our teaching approach to the game. Most of the tour players today were taught this way, and we feel it is the only way to teach the game of golf. We will take you through all aspects of the game, working in your own trouble areas longer if necessary. Our teaching method combined with our 3-to-1 gives our students the maximum opportunity to improve their game. Questions & Answers Q: What makes Abc Golf School different from other golf schools?
A: Our strict 3 students to 1 Abc golf school along with PGA/LPGA instructors are the major factors. We are totally committed to your improvement.
Q: How much improvement can I expect after attending a Abc Golf School?
A: Improvement depends on how committed you are. Beginners naturally see the most dramatic improvement, yet better players benefit greatly from professional instruction as they shave more strokes from their score. Continued practice and dedication are the keys to success.
Q: Will you try to change my entire game?
A: No, we will build on your natural ability. Our method of teaching starts with basic fundamentals: grip, posture and alignment. Changes are recommended to ensure you begin with this solid and proper foundation. Once you are fundamentally correct, all efforts will be targeted on specific problems.
Q: What equipment is needed when attending golf school?
A: It is always recommended that you bring your own clubs and shoes. However, if you do not have equipment we will furnish clubs at a nominal charge for your school. Suggestions on club fitting will be covered during your course.
Q: Why is is so important that all instructors are PGA/LPGA?
A: All of our instructors are PGA/LPGA professionals who have learned HOW to teach and have substantial teaching backgrounds. We do not believe in any other classification for a golf instructor.
Q: What if it rains?
A: In case of a downpour, classes are taken inside for review and classroom work. Normally, our rainstorms in Florida are brief and school can continue within an hour.
